What is trust?

Trust is ANA's verdict on whether a conference is a real scientific event rather than a fee-collecting mill. It says nothing about prestige or promotion points; those are shown separately.

Established9–10Major society or long-running conference. Indexing and committee verified.
Trusted7–8Legitimate. Long history and real committee; small gaps, e.g. next year's fees not out yet.
Plausible5–6Probably legitimate, but key claims (indexing, review, committee) are only partly verified.
Doubtful3–4Several checks failed or couldn't be verified. Check it yourself before submitting.
Avoid1–2Matches a known conference mill or has serious red flags.

How it's scored: every conference starts at 3. Points are added for a listed committee, an international committee, 3+ past editions, a domain and archive several years old, and a university or society organiser. Points are taken off for vague indexing ("major databases"), an indexing claim that turns out false, review faster than 7 days, a brand-new domain, missing committees, or many unrelated conferences on one site. A known conference mill is capped at 2.

Quality is a separate 1–5 score for whether it's worth presenting there: the conference's tier (flagship, mid, regional), verified WoS/Scopus indexing, double-blind review, a reputable organiser and an international committee. A small regional conference can be fully trusted and still Modest.

Top5/5Flagship conference: verified indexing or a major society, rigorous review.
High4/5Strong international conference with solid review and a reputable host.
Mid3/5Good conference, but indexing or review rigour only partly verified.
Modest2/5Real but small or regional, little verified indexing. Fine for networking and a2/a3 points.
Low1/5Real, but little evidence of selectivity or reach.

Venue: Markos Karanastasis Center, Hellenic Mediterranean University, Heraklion campus. Submit a paper or an extended abstract by 2027-02-08 (Exordo); both go to double-blind review and both are published in the Book of Proceedings (ISBN, DOI). Final/revised version 2027-04-07 to 2027-09-12. Max 2 submissions per author; one Main Author fee covers up to 2 papers. Track 2: HRM, Leadership and Organisational Design; also Diversity/Equality/Ethics track. No online presentation; 'Other Participant' covers observers and authors who cannot attend (paper still published). 28 partner journals for invited extended versions (e.g. EuroMed Journal of Business, Journal of Knowledge Management, Int. Journal of Organizational Analysis). Fees exclude 5% Cyprus VAT for EU organisations without a VAT number; reverse charge for EU VAT-registered payers; non-EU no VAT. Fellows get 10% off. Scientific committee (2026 page) about 32 members from ~15 countries; 2027 committee not yet listed. Asia Chapter conference (Mumbai, 2027-01-20..22) is a separate event.
